- Are you really free?
- Yes. The free tier is free forever for any registered charity. No credit card, no trial timer, no surprise upgrades. We pay for hosting out of the paid tiers and our own pockets.
- What's the "Built with" footer?
- On the free tier, your site shows a small line in the footer that says "Built with yourcharitysite.com". That's the only branding. Pro removes it.
- Can I switch between plans anytime?
- Yes. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel from your dashboard. We don't charge cancellation fees and we don't make you call anyone.
- What if my charity can't afford even $5?
- Email us. We have a quiet fund that covers Pro for charities working on a shoestring. No applications, no forms — just a short email about what you're doing.
- Do you take a cut of donations?
- No. Donations go through whatever processor you use (Stripe, JustGiving, etc.) and we never touch them. We charge for the website, not for your fundraising.
- Can I export my content if I leave?
- Yes. Every site can export all pages, posts, and uploaded media as a zip. The export format is documented so you can move it to another CMS without losing anything.
